The Diabetes Nurse Interest Group (DNIG), Staff Nurse Interest Group (SNIG), and Paediatric Nurse Interest Groups (PedNIG) of the Registered Nurses’ Association of Ontario (RNAO) are pleased to invite you to an educational session on current practices in Diabetes management.

Management of pre-existing diabetes in pregnancy and gestational diabetes

Presenter: Lisa Wheesk, RN BScN MPH CDE

Lisa is a Diabetes Nurse Clinician and Lead in the Diabetes Management Program at the Anishnawbe Mushkiki Health Centre in Thunder Bay. She is a Certified Diabetes Educator, with specialization in Pregnancy and Intensive Insulin Management. Lisa has been practicing nursing in the Aboriginal health field for almost 25 years.
