Updated with link to archived webcast: Session 1 of 3 educational sessions on the assessment and management of diabetes and mental illness
The Diabetes Nurse Interest Group (DNIG) and the Mental Health Nursing Interest Group (MHNIG) of the Registered Nurses’ Association of Ontario (RNAO) are pleased to invite you to three educational sessions on the assessment and management of diabetes and mental illness. Many persons are living with both illnesses, a dual combination that can significantly impact the quality of life.
We would like to congratulate our colleagues at the Seniors Health Knowledge Network Diabetes Community of Practice (SHKN Diabetes CoP) for receiving the 2012 CDA/DES Practical Diabetes Resource of the Year Award at the national CDA conference this past October. The group received the award for their DVD based resource "Diabetes 101: A Comprehensive Learning Tool for Health Care Professionals in Long Term Care Settings."
Welcome to the next exciting stage in the evolution of the Diabetes Nursing Interest Group (DNIG).
